Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Shovelready and purchases of parcel decisions, subscriptions, reports, and related services.
Agreement
By accessing Shovelready, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and the Advisory & Liability Notice. If you use Shovelready for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.
The service
Shovelready Technologies Inc. provides software and analytical reports for development decision support. Availability, supported municipalities, data sources, features, and estimates may change. Shovelready is not a municipal service or professional adviser.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate account information. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, evade product limits, scrape protected content, reverse engineer non-public systems, or use Shovelready unlawfully. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Purchases and subscriptions
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes may be added where required. One-time purchases and subscription credits grant only the access described at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Refund eligibility follows the Refund Policy.
Reports and intellectual property
Shovelready and its software, models, branding, and compiled content remain our property or that of our licensors. Subject to payment and these Terms, you may use purchased reports internally for your business and share them with advisers, lenders, investors, and project counterparties. You may not resell, republish, or use the service to build a competing dataset or product without written permission.
Decision-support limitations
Estimates and reports are subject to the Advisory & Liability Notice. You must independently verify material facts before committing money, acquiring property, designing a project, or filing an application.
Suspension, termination, and changes
We may suspend access for security threats, non-payment, material breach, or unlawful use. We may update the service and these Terms; material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting rights that cannot legally be waived. Questions may be sent to ryan@getshovelready.net.
